Horsemanship
If you love horse, this is the place to be. You’ll get hands on experience in grooming and caring for horses, and you’ll explore the trails around Camp Alamisco. Come ride with us!
Archery
What would camp be without Archery? Sign up for this class, and you’ll learn the skill necessary to become a skilled archer. Challenge yourself against the instructor and other campers. You’ll love this class.
Gymnastics
Are you a budding Olympian? Would you like to challenge yourself mentally and physicall? Come an learn basic tumbling skills, acrobatic and flexibility skills. You’ll be in better shape after a week at Camp Alamiscos gymnatics clinic.
Swimming
If you would like to learn new swimming skills, you won’t want to miss this class. Our American Red Cross Certified lifeguard and instructors will teach you new strokes, and new skills. You’ll also get to experience the “BLOB” If you want be more comfortable in the water. You’ll want to be here.
Canoeing
Lake Martin is one of the most beautiful lakes in the southeast, and our canoeing staff will get you up close and personal with some of the best canoeing places around. Find out how much fun canoeing can be.
Waterskiing/Wakeboarding
One of Our most popular activity. Skiing, wakeboarding, barefooting, wakeskating, you can learn to do all of them at Camp Alamisco. Our instructors are skilled skiers and boat drivers and are certified with the American Waterski Association. Sign up early because space is limited and you don’t want to miss out on this.
Christian Drama
Learn the skills you’ll need to communicate the love of Jesus through the medium of Drama. You’ll spend the week practicing, and then perform on the weekend. If you like acting, this is the class for you.
Wall Climbing/Rock Climbing
Experience the thrill of scaling our very own climbing wall. You’ll learn different climbing and belaying techniques and get a taste of the great sport of rock climbing. Teen campers will get an opportunity to experience real climbing on our overnight outpost camp.
NEW ACTIVITY: Mountian Boarding
Take a skateboard, big tires, a helmet and pads, mountains, and jumps and you have the newest sport at Camp Alamisco. If you like to go fast and jump high, you will want to try this sport. We have everything you need to make this a fun and safe activity
